Rape Education Program:

The MU Rape Education staff provides outreach programs for interested university and community groups. Programs can be tailored toward specific concerns such as date rape, psychological aspects of sexual assault, or rape as a men’s issue. The Rape Education Office, 205 Brady Commons, maintains a resource library on sexual violence issues. For more information about the Rape Education Office, or if you are interested in becoming a peer rape educator or scheduling a program, please call (573) 882-6638 or visit www.missouri.edu/~stulife/rape-ed

Stronger Together Against Rape (STAR): is a student organization open to anyone interested in working on issues surrounding rape and sexual assault. STAR meets Thursdays at 5pm in the Women’s Center lounge.

Men Against Rape & Sexual Assault (MARS): is a student organization open to anyone interested in men’s issues related to sexual violence. To learn how to get involved with MARS, call the Rape Education Office at (573) 882-6638.

Feminist Student Union (FSU):

Interested in feminist activism aimed at challenging norms and perceptions about gender, race, class and much, much more? This student organization participates in a variety of activist and consciousness raising actions. Call Beth, FSU Advisor, at (573) 882-6621 to get involved or email umcwomenscenter@missouri.edu.

Parents-In-College (PIC):

PIC is a student-run organization geared toward helping single parents in college. Throughout the semester, PIC offers a variety of events for parents and children, PIC study halls, PIC-a-topic discussions, PIC play dates each month, and much more! Fall RAD Classes:
